The Ramsey Police Department will be hiring police officers in the next few months. Candidates interested in applying for this position may pick up our pre-application packet at the Ramsey Police Department (25 North Central Avenue, Ramsey, NJ 07446) or download the packet under the (Downloads/Forms)link.
Candidates should carefully read and follow all the instructions prior to submitting their application for police officer. The requested materials should be put in a sealed envelope with the candidate’s name on the front. Include in the packet the following items:
1. The pre-application
2. A copy of the candidate’s résumé
3. Candidate’s PTC certification (as of July 1,
4. Candidate’s DD214 and / or a copy of a four-
year college degree or diploma
5. Candidate’s signed ADA acknowledgement form
